Do you commit to respecting the other players?

With your words and actions, be respectful towards all people, regardless of race, class, religion, gender, orientation, pronouns, etc.
Try to avoid ‘flame wars’ in chat; If you need to sort out a disagreement, please use the ingame ‘/msg’ or ‘/mail’ commands. If the disagreement is seriously impacting your enjoyment of the server or you believe someone is breaking the rules, feel free to use /mail to contact an Atrium Admin, or message an Atrium Admin on our Discord server.
Give people breathing room. Ask before building directly next to others; They might already have a larger build in mind.
Please try to keep chat, signs, and everything else PG-13.

Do you commit to respecting our world(s)?

Build with intention. Limit thoughtless builds like dirt cubes or single block towers. Consider the impact of your build on the world around it.
Keep the wilderness wild: Clean up your nerdpoles and holes, avoid “flooding” of all types, don’t deforest areas without cause, etc.
If there are unprotected structures in the wild, leave them untouched unless given explicit permission by the owner of the structure or an Atrium Admin.
Don’t be a landlord. Avoid claiming large areas of land that you aren’t actively using.

Do you commit to playing nicely?

Don’t use any mods or resource packs that directly change gameplay, such as glide hacks, remote-break hacks, X-Ray, etc.
Performance-enhancing mods (such as Optifine) are usually allowed, as are minimap mods that don’t have radar. To avoid a misunderstanding, contact an Atrium Admin about a specific mod before you use it.
No Item Duplication. Don’t use exploits such as furnace exp glitches, Iron golem farms, or anything else that creates items for free. Spawner based farms are generally allowed. Best to approach an Atrium Admin if you’re planning to build a mob farm.

Do you commit to help keep our server functional?

Please do your best not to cause server lag; Avoid always-active redstone clocks, excessive entities or tile entities (chests), and frequent lighting updates (ask an Atrium Admin if you are unsure how to go about this or what this means).
Respect the Admins. Running Atrium is not a job, and our time is valuable.
